1. Purpose and official channel
This English version is provided for convenience. The Spanish text at https://yakuexperience.com/devoluciones governs in case of conflict. Peruvian law applies; courts of Ayacucho, Peru.
This Policy sets cancellation, refund, rescheduling and name-change rules for Yaku Experience under Consumer Code Law No. 29571.
Exclusive channel: info@yakuexperience.com. Verbal-only or social-media requests are not processed. Response within 48 business hours.
2. Guest cancellations and refunds
You may cancel with rescheduling or partial refund rights depending on notice before the scheduled date:
| Notice before start | Effect |
|---|---|
| 5 days or more | Reschedule at no penalty, or refund minus 10%–20% for administrative/operational costs already incurred |
| Less than 5 days, or same day | Full forfeiture of the reservation amount paid |
2. (cont.) No-show and retention
No-show (failure to appear at the confirmed meeting point/time without timely notice) yields no refund, reschedule or credit.
Retention percentages reflect costs actually incurred and are not abusive clauses under Law No. 29571 arts. 49–51.
3. Rescheduling and name change
Date changes subject to availability; new date within 6 months of the original or the booking expires without refund.
Transfer to a third party: at least 5 days’ notice and the new guest’s own approved Health Form. Medical disqualification of the new guest voids the transfer.
4. Prior medical disqualification
If the Health Form review finds you unsuitable for safety reasons, at your choice: (a) full refund of amounts paid, or (b) reschedule to an alternative experience without the restricted ceremonial component.
This is a protective fitness measure, not a penalty attributable to you.
5. Force majeure
Unforeseeable irresistible events (roadblocks, extreme weather, disasters, strikes, authority acts) fall under Civil Code arts. 1314–1315.
We prioritise penalty-free rescheduling or a credit voucher. Cash refund for force majeure is not a right except at our exceptional discretion.
